Faster than the post office. Closer than the nearest big-box.
Most Carmel residents shipping Amazon returns have two options: drive 15+ minutes to the nearest UPS Store or wait in line at the post office. We're opening in Carmel, NY, with free parking — and returns will be processed at the counter, without a line.
What you need
- The item you're returning (unpacked is fine)
- Your Amazon QR code (on your phone screen or printed)
That's the whole list. Everything else — box, tape, label, shipping — is on us.
What we do at the counter
- Scan your QR code to validate the return
- Inspect the item briefly (required by Amazon)
- Box, tape, and label it for return shipment
- Hand you a drop-off receipt for your records
- Ship it back — typically via UPS, per Amazon's routing
Is it really free?
Yes. If Amazon gave you a free return QR code, there's no charge from us either. We're paid by Amazon for handling the return on their behalf. You walk out with nothing taken from your refund.
What if I don't have a QR code?
Some returns use a printed prepaid label instead. That's fine too — bring the label and the item, and we'll scan it in as a standard drop-off. If you need the label printed, we can do that in-store for a small fee at our print desk.
Exceptions worth knowing
A small number of Amazon returns require the item to be in its original packaging (some electronics, some large items). Amazon will tell you in the return flow if that's the case. Bring it packed as-instructed and we'll still handle the drop-off.
